We’re thrilled to announce that Dr Johannes Michaelian has been awarded the 2025 Margaret Ethel Jew Fund!
Dr Michaelian is a Research Fellow with the Healthy Brain Ageing Program (Cohort in SIESTA Stream 1) at the Brain and Mind Centre, and a valued member of the Alzheimer’s and Neurodegeneration research team and the Sydney Dementia Network. His work focuses on understanding and improving brain health across the lifespan, with a particular emphasis on dementia prevention.
Established by the Jew family in 2019, the Margaret Ethel Jew Fund provides an annual $5,000 stipend to support research into the causation, treatment, and prevention of dementia.
