We’re delighted to share that Dr Aaron Lam and Dr Shawn Kong, postdoctoral researchers on the SIESTA program, have been awarded Brain and Mind Centre Emerging Researcher Awards for 2025!
These awards, administered by the BMC EMCR Committee, provide $2,500 in travel funding to support conference attendance and professional development. The scheme helps early- and mid-career researchers build national and international networks and contribute to the broader brain and mind science community.
Both Aaron and Shawn are valued members of the Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative Diseases team, and their research is central to SIESTA’s mission of improving brain health and dementia prevention through sleep-focused science.
