The Postgraduate Research  Scholarship in Sleep Research to Transform Brain Ageing has been established to support an outstanding postgraduate research student within the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney to undertake research in brain ageing in humans, and how it pertains to sleep.

Working with investigators of the NHMRC SIESTA Synergy Program, the research will utilise basic science, neuroimaging, clinical applied research or digital tools to examine ways in which sleep contributes to cognitive decline and pathophysiological features of dementia due to Alzheimer’s or cerebrovascular disease.

This scholarship is supported by Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research) University of Sydney.
